Product Description
Lapis lazuli is one of the oldest gemstones in human history - prized for thousands of years for its distinctive deep blue color. It is a metamorphic rock composed primarily of lazurite, calcite, and pyrite, which together produce its characteristic rich blue. Our coarse-grind lapis sand shows the stone's deep, rich blue at its most vivid.
For Jewelry Makers & Crafters
Coarse lapis lazuli sand creates a deep, saturated blue in resin casting, crystal bezels, epoxy river tables, and mosaic inlay. One of the few natural gemstone powders to produce a true, rich blue color. Pairs beautifully with gold metallic accents - a classic combination historically associated with this stone.
For Wood Inlay Artists
The coarse grind packs cleanly into routed grooves and creates a stunning deep blue inlay against wood. Works especially well against light wood species like maple and ash for maximum contrast.
For Orgonite & Energy Art
Lapis lazuli's deep blue color makes it a visually striking choice for orgonite pyramid casting. Layer with metal shavings and resin for a rich blue layer in pyramid and sculpture work.
For finer applications, see our Lapis Lazuli Fine powder.

Very good-looking gems. Can't wait to use these. Will order again from them.
Used the crushed Lapis Lazuli the same day it came in. Made a beautiful inlay in a black walnut wood ring. Looks awesome.
